There is no hyphen in misspoke. Or misspell. Or misspeak.

Typically, a hyphen will follow a prefix only when the word could be read differently.

For instance: when you resend a message, you will have re-sent it, because resent (to feel or express annoyance or ill will at*) is not appropriate to that situation.

[No matter that it is sometimes annoying to have to resend things!]
