2.5L and 2.8L are the same.
2.2L and 4.3L are different.
Maybe, if you can find one with the same length, same bolt pattern, same shifter, same driveshaft splines.
yes they do
YES BOLT ON .THEY ARE THE SAME 1992 TO 2002 FOR A MANUAL
1987 to 1992 uses the same 5 speed manual transmission in the gas models
Why would you want to? The 2.5 gets one more mile per gallon in the city and the same mpg on the highway as the 4.2. My 2.5 is a gutless wonder. But I do like it all the same.
Replace the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) in your transmission. It is the same part number for an automatic transmission and a manual transmission in those year models.
If it's the same as the 1998 Ford Ranger , the 5 speed manual transmission takes Motorcraft MERCON ATF ( automatic transmission fluid )
No, they are different.
A/T the same place you check it. Manual transmission, on the upper side of the transmission under the truck.A/T the same place you check it. Manual transmission, on the upper side of the transmission under the truck.
Should be a Borg Warner top load same as a corvette
GM manufactured several models of manual transmissions - they weren't all the same - and there'll be quite a substantial difference between a manual which was used in a Silverado and one which was used in a Cavalier. Try again with the transmission model.
