Fuel Pump Shut-Off Switch
In the event of an accident the emergency fuel shut off switch may activate. If your car's engine cranks, but will not start, you should try resetting this switch. Do so only with your ignition in the "off" position and after you have determined there are no fuel leaks. The switch is located on the front passenger's foot area, behind what is called the "kick panel".

The Ford Focus 1.8 TDDI does not have a manual diesel fuel pump reset button like some gasoline vehicles do. Instead, it relies on an electric fuel pump located in the fuel tank, which is controlled by the engine management system. If you're experiencing fuel delivery issues, it's recommended to check for any fault codes or inspect the fuel system components rather than looking for a reset button.
