The Mac does not have a BIOS and so the settings cannot be checked.
As in all Ford eletronic thermostat cabin controls, they either get stuck on one temperature setting or it can't read temperatures at all, therefore it runs at full speed. Needs to be checked out/replaced to run correctly.
