Intake air temp sensors are always located in the ducting of the air filter. there should be two things there one is the mass air flow sensor it is large and usually close to the air filter the intake air temp sensor is small usually has 2 wires and is in the tubing that connects the air filter box to the throttle body.
with the maf sensor
The intake air temperature (IAT) sensor on a 2002 Ford Focus is typically located in or near the air intake manifold. It is often found in the intake duct, close to the air filter or throttle body. In some configurations, the sensor may be integrated into the mass airflow sensor (MAF) assembly. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for the exact location and specifications.
Where is the coolant temperature sensor on a 2001 ford focus?" Where is the coolant temperature sensor on a 2001 ford focus Where is the coolant temperature sensor on a 2002 ford focus
The temperature sensor on a Ford Focus is located on top of the engine, near the upper radiator hose. It sends a constant signal to the vehicle's computer about its temperature.
the coolant temperature sensor is actually called cylinder head temperature sensor and its located near the alternater
The I.A.T.S (air intake temperature sensor) does just what it sounds like, it senses the temperature of the incoming air. it does this with a small coil that increases or decreases resistance in the coil. This in turn tells the E.C.U (electronic control unit) what the temperature is. Once the ECU knows the temperature, it sends messages to the fuel injectors telling them how much fuel to put into the incoming air. this makes for the "perfect" air-to-fuel mixture.
A coolant system temperature sensor controls it. : CHILTON calls it the cylinder head temperature sensor. Some after market manufacturers call it the coolant temperature sensor. These are equivalent.
There is no such thing as a: temperature switch, on your Ford focus, the coolant temperature sensor is located on the front of the engine.
cooling fan not work on ford focus zetec
on top of the thermostat housing.
right below the intake box on top, you remove the 2 screws and hose clamp and it pops out revealing the MAF sensor
Its located behind the intake manifold between pipes 1 & 2 (from the alternator side). do you have a picture of it
