You need fuel, compression and spark. You are missing one of those. You may have gas in the tank but, is it getting to the engine with proper pressure and volume?
Dead battery. Recharge it and see if it will start. If not, remove the battery and go have it tested.
Try sledgehammering the battery.

Follow the positive battery cable from the battery, it will lead you right to the starter.

Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.

Simple, have the alternator checked and if it is okay, check the alternator circuit to the battery
look under the battery tray
Your battery is dead.
It depends on what year and engine you have but, if you follow the positive battery cable from the battery, it will lead you right to the starter.
