No. And Yes. Why do you think it is low? Take an accurate reading and see if the level is at the "low" or "add" line. If so add 1 quart and check again. If you are sure it is still low add half a quart and re-check. But by this time if you need 2 quarts it would make more sense to just have the oil changed.

What does range mean on the dash board it says lo it's a 1992 Cadillac?

"LO" is just short for "low". It refers to low pressure (oil), low temperature (coolant), or low voltage (battery/charging system). Unlike low voltage and low oil pressure, Low coolant temp isnt a bad thing that's why that "Lo" isnt red but the other two are.

What does it mean when your oil light goes on and off when your ideling than turns off when your moving?

There are usually two oil lights; yellow for low oil level, and red for low oil pressure. Yours is most likely yellow, indicating your oil levels are low. It turns off when the car is moving because it's not low enough to register when the car's moving, as oil is moving through the engine, and the sensor is in the oil pan. You most likely have an oil leak or your car is burning oil; you just need to check the oil level at least 10 minutes after turning off the car, and add oil as needed. If it's at the lowest level on the oil dipstick, adding half a quart will do it.

What happen when you pour cold water on boiling water?

It also depends on the temperature of the water For Example: If the water is at a bearable temperature such as at 65 degrees for the highest then all that might be heard is a sizzle and then the oil will calm and boil together with the water. You might get one or two oil droplets splashing when you pour it if you're lucky. A good way to reduce the splashing back of oil when boiling it is just by adding a little water. Still expect a little droplets. On the other hand if the water is at let us say 87 degrees. Then expect oil droplet particles mixed with water droplets particles to rebound after you pour. It also depends at the speed you pour it and the amounts of oil you pour. The faster one's pours the oil the more the oil rebounds. The more water there is, is the less the oil rebounds. ALSO if you pour more oil than there is water then expect minimum oil droplets rebounds. But when the oil is more than the water or even close to being equal amount and the water is extremely hot then there shall be oil rebounds and after a few seconds (around 12 seconds) the rebounds shall cease and the water and oil shall boil together as one. What is rapeseed oil?

Rapeseed oil is just another name for Canola oil, from the Canola or Rapeseed crop. It derives its name from a Latin word for turnip. It is also related to cabbage and mustard. Canola oil is actually oil from two specific varieties of this plant. Canola is a shortened form of "Canadian oil, low acid." The acid content was why rapeseed oil wasn't in wide usage for cooking. However, when these varieties with low acid were discovered, it became a good alternative to other cooking oils.
