Jammed brakes...get them opened up and cleaned if the cars ben idle for a while...or could be the CV joints, try regreasing them
It depends on when you hear the noise, but it likely a joint in the front wheel drive unit.
Worn out bushing or steering joint probably.
Don't switch on the fly, that's just stupid. You'll need a whole system overhaul.
If you operate a front wheel drive vehicle, the clunking noise you hear may be a CV joint bearing going bad.
it could be a exhaust leak.
A whining noise from the right front tire area, combined with a clunk when stopping, could indicate several issues. It may be related to worn wheel bearings or a failing CV joint, which can create friction and noise while driving. The clunking sound when stopping might suggest problems with the brake components, such as loose or worn brake pads, or issues with the suspension system. It's advisable to have a mechanic inspect the vehicle to diagnose and address the problem accurately.
lower control arm bushings are worn also stabilizer pins Had my replaced at about $570.00
CV joint
what would cause a rubbing noise on drivers side front wheel especially when braking ( I replaced rotor and wheel bearings are good) ?
Most likely you need a new strut
After replacing the struts, CV joints, tie-rod ends etc....the noise is still there. I found it's actually the top strut bearing plate that wears out. They are available at some auto parts. ....this is the source of the noise....
Wheel bearing
