Check your tow bar and trailer brake light wiring. It may be grounded. I had this problem with my 92 roadmaster wagon. Tom.
The Buick Roadmaster was not produced in 1986. They were made from 1991 to 1996.
A 1992 Buick does not have an inertia or fuel cut off switch.
It is not equipped with an inertia switch.
If the fuse keeps blowing, there is a short somewhere. Since the dash and tail lights both go through the headlight switch, I would check the wires from the switch connection all the way to the tail lights, and the dash lights. Somewhere, a wire is crushed to ground or something like that. Make sure your switch is property connected and is a good switch! Good luck!
Sounds like it's not your bulb that is bad. It may be your brake switch isn't working.
If the taillights and dash lights on your 1996 Buick Roadmaster are out, it could be due to a blown fuse, a faulty light switch, or a problem with the wiring or connectors. Check the fuse box for any blown fuses related to the tail and dash lights. Additionally, inspect the light switch and wiring for any signs of damage or corrosion. If these components are functioning properly, further electrical diagnostics may be required to identify the issue.
