To know for sure you need to take the distributor cap loose so you can raise it up to see the rotor, Now take # 1 plug out of the head. That will be the first plug up front on the driver's side head. Get you a helper to bump the engine over with the key while you put your finger over the plug hole in the head. Get helper to bump engine over a little at a time real easy. You will fill it suck in on your finger and then as soon as it blows out from under you finger pay attention to where the rotor is pointing when it blows out from under your finger. That will be where the # 1 plug wire goes on the distributor cap, where the rotor is pointing when it blows your finger off the hole.
IT WILL NOT HURT YOU. You may have to bump the engine over a few times to get the fill of it.
It fires clockwise on the cap, 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
