The ABS fault light on the dashboard of a Daewoo Lanos indicates an issue with the Anti-lock Braking System, which could be due to a malfunctioning ABS sensor, a faulty control module, or issues with the brake system itself. i had the same problem for a while with my Lanos. i found that it was a combinations of a.) fuel filter being dirty and b.) wrong size tires on the car (when i had taken it in for new tires the shop put tires on that were to big), even when i got the tires fixed i still had milage problems. low air pressure in your tires could also account for lost milage. so, if your tires are fine then check your filter, and vise versa. hope this helps. It could also be the Oxygen sensor (lambda ) these only last between 30,000 and 50,00 miles and can result in fuel consumption increasing as they get contaminated and start increasing the fuel mixture due to false readings
