If your Envoy has the Inline vortec 6 cyl engine then do not play with the plugs. The plugs are Platinum tip and are good for 100,000 miles. If you have them out then chage them out with the AC Delco Iridiums that are the new replacement.
The tips are coated and any adjustment removes the coating and creates the possibility of premature failure. The Pre-gapping of the plugs these days is very accurate and the sleeves maintain the gap. Check out our enthusiasts website if you need more info on any topic about your Envoy.
