Did you get the alternator tested?
You need to tell us what the problem is(wont start, backfires,etc.)before we can give you an idea to try.
There could be a problem with the relay being grounded. There could also be a bad fuse or the fuse connection.
dash lights wont work
That really depends... it could be the battery, the starter, the EGR valve (most likely not) or many other things. try charging the battery up and see what happens. does it get a code?
