If by show wrong you mean it tells you your in first instead of second gear going down the road that could be a simple fix. Theres a sensor on your shift linkage that tell you what gear your in. it that's out of broken it could just tell you your in a different gear. As well as if it will lead to the down fall of your transmission i'd have it checked it should pop up a check engine problem usually and your local autozone can asses the problem for you.
don't know.
i have no heat in my 1994 mercury grand marquis. what could cause the heat to stop working
To troubleshoot the transmission, first check the fluid. As well as making sure that its full, check for a burnt color or smell. If the transmission is high mileage, the filter could be stopped up, or there could be any number of internal problems.
There could be many reasons why the 1993 Grand Marquis make noises when the doors lock. The wiring could be off, or the motor could be going out.
Ever checked the transmission fluid levels? That can only be checked while the engine is running and at normal operating temperature. The tranny fluid could also be contaminated and need flushing - be sure to change the transmission filter, too.
Could be the tires, or your front brake rotors
Normally not from the manufacturer, but it could have had one installed after that.
Could be the rad. , the thermostat, hoses, fan. You have to check all.
The 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis had a starting price of approximately $23,000 when it was brand new. This price could vary based on options and features selected by the buyer. The Grand Marquis was marketed as a full-size sedan offering comfort and spaciousness typical of its class.
It could be three thing... 1. You blown a fuse 2. You have a faulty switch 3. Your Marquis need to be rewired
yes 26" rims could fit on it
You have to be more specific. What is not working?
