Electro-magnetic fields like lightning and other surges can erase the default programing of security systems. Installing a new battery or having a problem while jump starting a vehicle can have the same result. Only dealers and specialists have the equipment to reprogram these systems and they can be pricey... Check the fuse first. if you are lucky this is where the problem is... After market radios have a fusible link and should be checked also. Good Luck!
if replacing the battery doesnt fix it.
replaced battery and now remote doesnt work . how do you reprogram remote
Your keyless remote might not work for your 2002 Chevy Tahoe because the battery in the remote is dead. You can replace this battery by prying the remote cover off of the back of the remote or by removing the screws holding the cover closed.
Your battery is probably "broken" Check if you have disabled battery charging And if the charging light is on it is charging and its a good thing. Also check the adaptor with a multimeter (UNPLUG IT FIRST)
it doesnt
My 2004 land rover discovery 2 doesnt work?
it doesnt need battery because the metal is connected to it.
Turn ignition on, press close button and hold for ten seconds, then press open button for ten seconds. Know the two off them should be talking. Good luck
Be sure to chek for ground outs. that will drain a battery in no nime. usually doesnt happen but chek to make sure nothing is crossing the poles when the hood is down. check around starter, and into the fendors. these are typical ground sites.
when it doesnt come on when you put it in the phone or when its in 2 parts.........
No, it has so many features that the battery doesnt really last through the whole day.
probably have a bad alternator or voltage regulator or bad battery cables
