Well if you haven't already found out by this time I can answer this.. First off the 3.5 is a throw away engine. once the timing belt snaps it bends the valves. So here are your options; replace cam assembly, make sure pistons arent damaged or replace engine like I had to do.. Was cheaper for me to get used engine and put it in myself. Or toss car and get a different one... Hope that helped..
