theres a micro switch like hinge in the sterring colum that make it do that. replace and move on
Any steering column from a 1986-91 Eldorado would work - a comparable Seville's should work equally as well.
on the middle of the steering wheel
Remove steering wheel and signal switch
Under dash on top of steering column
under the instrement panal, near the steering column
i would say only other eldorado's because they were front wheel drive v8's...
replace rack and pinion and power steering pump
power steering fluid
Brake fluid reservoir is located on the firewall next to the steering column. Remove cover top of master cylinder to add brake fluid.

To remove the ignition switch from a 1989 Cadillac Eldorado, first disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shorts. Then, remove the steering column cover by unscrewing the screws, and locate the ignition switch. Disconnect the wiring harness from the switch, then remove the retaining screws or bolts securing the switch to the steering column. Finally, carefully pull the ignition switch out of its housing.
Located on left side of steering column. Take off both covers and you will find the turn signal relay.
