The appropriate amp fuse for a fuel pump typically ranges from 10 to 20 amps, depending on the specific vehicle and fuel pump model. To determine the correct fuse rating, consult the vehicle's service manual or the fuel pump manufacturer's specifications. It's essential to use the recommended fuse to prevent damage to the fuel pump or wiring. Always ensure that the fuse matches the pump's electrical requirements for optimal safety and performance.
Chevy did not use them on there trucks. Check fuel pump pressure, fuel pump FUSE and FUEL pump relay.
The fuel pump relay is in the under hood fuse box. Chrysler does not use inertia switches. The fuel pump relay is in the under hood fuse box. Chrysler does not use inertia switches.
It's possible that the fuel pump has gone bad and draws too much current, blowing the fuse. Try disconnecting the electrical connection to the fuel pump, then replace the fuse. If the fuse doesn't blow, you should suspect the fuel pump. Even if that's not the problem, use a similar plan to go through the rest of the circuit to see what's causing the fuse to blow.
GM vehicles are not equipped with a fuel pump reset switch. There is however a fuel pump relay and fuse. Fuel pump fuse and relay is located under the hood in the fuse/relay center.
Typically the fuel pump fuse only blows when there is a problem with the fuel pump which causes it to use too much current. In almost all situations that is a worn fuel pump with bad internal bearings.
The fuel pump fuse for a 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Limited is located in the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side. To access it, remove the cover of the fuse box, and you should find the fuel pump fuse labeled appropriately. If you need to replace it, make sure to use a fuse with the same amperage rating.
Could use this today I am dorpping ,tankWhat fuse or relay controls fuel pump 1993 voyager where's it located
your fuel pump is either bad or the sock filter is cloged. When your fuel pump wears out it draws more current, it drags. solotion , replace fuel pump, do not use larger fuse , it could cause a fire. This is a common problem with all cars and trucks, when fuse starts to blow over and over replace worn out fuel pump. Hope this helps.
Chevy did not use a reset button/switch. You need to check fuel pump fuse and relay first. Then check the fuel pump itself.
Chevy did not use a INERTIA switch. Need to check fuel pump relay and fuse.
there is a fuel pump relay in the fuse box next to battery labeled fuel pump relay on l id of fuse box.I have a 95 it should be same on 93 otherwise look in chiltons or haynes book. Chrysler does not use inertia switches. it is not a switch it is a black fuse that is fuel pump relay
No there is not, Chevy did not use a Inertia or a reset switch on there trucks. You need to check the fuel pump fuse and relay. You may just have a bad fuel pump.
