On a 2003-2006 Sprinter the fuel filter is located on the driver side of the engine block. About half way up and down, and front to back.
You are do for an oil change and fuel filter replacement.
The fuel filter is on the top of the engine, below the aircleaner, and upper engine cover.
It is on top of the center of the engine, you will have to remove the air filter box to access it.
It is on the driver side of the engine. It is the metal can with the hoses hooked to it.
Driver side of the engine, down by the motor mount.
The engine will starve for fuel and may not run at all.
To replace the fuel filter on a 2004 Dodge Sprinter, first, ensure the vehicle is turned off and the fuel system is depressurized. Locate the fuel filter, which is typically found under the vehicle near the fuel tank or along the fuel line. Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter, taking care to catch any spilled fuel. Finally, replace the old filter with a new one, reconnect the fuel lines securely, and check for any leaks before starting the engine.
It is on top of the engine. You have to remove the air filter assembly and the cover between the heads.
The 2003 Sprinter has a mechanical fuel pump on the engine. While changing the filter you have airlocked the fuel system. The way I restart them is to apply suction to the return hose on the filter(look for arrows) and pull on it until you get fuel. Had this problem on 2002 sprinter, the problem was the sensor on the bottom of the filter not connected properly
Driver side of the block, about middle up and down, and front to back.
