Sugar
Iodine in a gas tank will run the engine. It will cause rust, and will corrode the engine to the point that the engine will seize.
you could try putting a cup of sugar crystals into the gas tank.......
On cars with fuel injection it is in the fuel tank. On cars with a carburetor it can but most likely is mounted on the engine block.
Somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine. Except on certain cars such as a Neon, which has the filter in the fuel tank.
er yeah
The Tampon will expand, absorbing gas in the tank , and will eventualy get sucked into the fuel pump and block the flow of gas to the engine so the car won't run.
It is a 15 gal. Gas tank on them cars I have one.
No
In the gas tank. Since cars went from cabs to fuel injection the fuel pump went from a mechanical unit on the engine to one in the gas tank and so a nuisance to replace.
Year, Make, Model, Engine? If you call the dealer they may be able to tell you. Ask a question with your cars year make and model such as: What size gas tank does my 1999 Chevy truck have?
It seems that sugar in a gas tank has no effect whatsoever on a car engine. This myth was tested in Episode 15, "Scuba Diver, Car Capers" on the show Mythbusters (Discovery channel, Wed @9pm), along with other engine myths such as destroying an engine by adding bleach to the gas tank. http://dsc.discovery.com/fansites/mythbusters/episode/00to49/episode-07.html
It is pumped to the engine by a fuel pump.
