1991 ford tempo and everytime you come to a stop the car dies the check engine light comes on and sometimes it starts right away other times it takes 20-30 minutes to restart what could it be?
My 91 Tempo used to stall on me at stop lights and stop signs. I just turned the idle up on it. I'm not sure about the check engine light however. Mine is constantly on and everyone who looks at it can't seem to find out why. You also might want to check your PCV valve.
