verry common problem its the heater tap stuck open, you can do a quick fix and bypass the heater, but than you wont hav a heater when its cold of find the tap and close it manually, so i recommend that you replace the heater tap

low on coolent
The heater core can leak get pluged up or simply wear through with time. When they leak it will probly leak engine coolent into the cabin of the car or truck. When they get pluged up your heater will not heat the car and the coolant system of the car will not operate properly to cool the car.
