Squeaking in the front area of a Chevrolet Equinox when hitting bumps can be caused by several factors, including worn or damaged suspension components such as struts, bushings, or control arms. Loose or insufficiently lubricated parts, like sway bar links or shock absorbers, can also contribute to the noise. Additionally, debris trapped in the suspension system may create friction, leading to squeaking sounds. Regular maintenance and inspection can help identify and resolve these issues.
Bad wheel bearing? Brake pads worn? Dirt/pebble caught between brake pads and rotor? Bad CV joint?
