this is usually engine coolant leaking in
You have water in your oil. Possibly from condensation. Run the engine only long enough to warm the oil and change it.
Blown head gasket. That milky look is coolant mixed with the oil. STOP driving this vehicle until you have this repaired or you will ruin this engine.
Milky oil in a 5.7 Vortec engine is typically caused by coolant contamination, often due to a blown head gasket, intake manifold gasket failure, or a cracked engine block. This allows coolant to mix with the engine oil, leading to a milky appearance. Another potential cause could be condensation buildup in the engine, especially in colder climates, though this is less common. Regular maintenance and monitoring can help prevent these issues.
Any time your engine oil is milky it means you have water in it It's got water in it from somewhere. Probably a blown headgasket. Hopefully not a cracked or warpped head.
The coolant has oil in it. Possible causes are a failed headgasket, or a leaking oil cooler,
milky oil is caused by water and antifreeze contamintaion, you have a bad head gasket. replace both headgaskets
A cracked radiator will NOT put water in the engine and make the oil milky. A bad head gasket WILL put water in the engine and make the oil look milky. That does not neccessarily mean you have a bad engine. Have someone fix or replace the radiator and replace the head gasket. It could be a good engine for a long time yet
Milky oil is water or coolant in the oil. You need to find the cause and fix it. Causes include head and intake gaskets.
drain oil,raditor.
engine burning oil
it would be caused by getting water in the engine make sure your radiator has fluid/water . If it doesn't then your water pump is bad. Which means your getting water in the engine...
Look at the oil on the dipstick. If you have antifreeze leaking into the crankcase the oil will be milky.
