Generally one of two things will cause headlights to dim; a power drain somewhere else (A/C compressor clutch, etc.) or a bad electrical connection.
If the dash lights dim at the same time, it's most likely an electrical draw or short circuit.
Don't automatically dismiss the A/C clutch because the A/C isn't on; some vehicles also run the A/C in defrost mode to dry the air.
Tailgate. Or try to pass on either side. Flash it's headlights at you.
To flash your headlights in Midnight Club 3 on PS2, simply press the L1 button on your controller. This action will activate your car's headlights, allowing you to flash them at other drivers or during races. Remember that this feature can be useful for signaling or just adding some flair to your driving. Enjoy the game!
Remove the alternator and have it tested at any auto parts store?
If the headlights flash on and off, there may be a problem with the bulbs or fuses. There may also be a problem with the battery connections or wiring.
A mis-wiring or short circuit somewhere between the controls, fusebox and lights.
Headlights have a thermal circuit breaker. A short to the headlight (positive to ground) will cause the breaker to trip. The breaker cools and the lights come back on till the breaker heats up. Find the short and fix it.
You could be hitting the flash feature on the turn signal arm when you use it.
you probly have loose light bulbs
you've got a short or a bad fuse
because you turn them on and off, on and off...
No this is a myth and what dumb question
Look to the opposite corner of the road but keep your steering wheel straight, so as to not veer in the direction you're staring. If they're driving with highs on, flash your high beams to indicate they should turn them off.
