it really is a vague discription. do you feel the tick in the gas pedal? does it sound like its coming from near your tires... or your engine? most likely it is a wheel bearing or bushing. if it becomes a knocking noise when you go around corners it is your constant velocity axle i am assuming your vehicle is a front wheel drive.
It could be the wheel bearing.
yes and you could DIE!
It is impossible to give error free diagnosis online but your power brake booster or check valve could be defective It is impossible to give error free diagnosis online but your power brake booster or check valve could be defective. This will casce engine vaccuum to drop when brakes are applied causing the engine to run lean. This causes rough idle and stalling. Car should run ok until brake are applied
If the brake pads come with shims or other anti-rattle hardware and it is not used on the vehicle, the brake pads will vibrate against the rotor as they are being applied and that will cause them to squeal.
Its unlikely. the more likely cause is a brake hose collapsed/split internally, after the brakes are applied the internal split is pushed back by the returning brake fluid causing a blockage in the line preventing the caliper piston from backing off the rotor.
Disc brake noise at low speed in a vehicle could be caused by issues such as worn brake pads, rust or debris on the rotors, or caliper problems. It is important to have a professional mechanic inspect and diagnose the specific cause of the noise to ensure safe driving conditions.
Well, one reason could be driving with the parking brake on. that fits the symptoms.
That could be the brake pad "squealers". They are designed to squeal when they are worn out. Time for a brake job.
If a calliper is "hanging", it could be causing the brake pads to press against the rotor and overheat the brakes. You may want to see if the calliper is dragging.
Parking brakes stick if left applied in cold weather
The bike brake noise could be caused by dirt or debris on the brake pads or rotor, misalignment of the brake pads, or worn brake pads. To fix it, you can clean the brake pads and rotor, adjust the alignment of the brake pads, or replace the worn brake pads.
Could be,E-Brake slightly applied, Sticky E-Brake cables, E-Brake out of adjustment, Brake fluid reservoir low, Brake system in need of maintenance,
