The coolant enters the engine by way of the lower radiator hose and exits the engine by way of the upper radiator hose.
A 2000 Chevrolet Silverado with a 5.3 liter engine takes 13.4 quarts of coolant. It is suggest that the coolant be mixed 50/50 with water.
Monitor your engine temperature and your coolant levels. Chances are you need to add more coolant to the car.
No it does not.
Could be "Dex-Cool" engine coolant.
Rear of the engine block, near the oil pan.
it takes dex-cool coolant,
It is in the bottom of the over flow tank.
Engine coolant leaking internally and/or externally.
Drivers side of engine, between the #3 and #5 spark plug.
Assuming you mean the engine coolant temperature sending unit, we need to know what engine it has, it makes a difference.
To bleed air out of the coolant system in a 2000 Chevy Tracker, first ensure the engine is cool and remove the radiator cap. Start the engine and let it run until it reaches normal operating temperature, allowing the thermostat to open. As the engine runs, keep an eye on the coolant level in the radiator; add coolant if necessary. Finally, rev the engine slightly and check for any remaining air bubbles; repeat this process until the coolant level stabilizes and no more bubbles are visible.
