I own a repair shop and I am telling you that there is no longer a tuneup. If you follow the manufactures scheduled maintenance recommendations then everything you need will be covered accordingly. The one main thing that I would like to express is the fuel filter. It should be replaced every 2 years or 30,000 miles. A filter that is stopping up causes excessive strain on the fuel pump and can lead to premature failure.
