The fuel filter in the 2000 Kia Sportage looks like a cylinder with a domed top. There are two lines attached at each end of the filter to facilitate the passage of fuel through the filter.
it is in front of fuel rail, attached to it, looks like a silver top hat.

I have a 2000 Audi TT with 125,000 miles on it and I would like to change the fuel filter. Where on the vehilce is it??? I have already purchased the filter.
i like to know if there is a diagram or video to change spark plugs on a 2000 kia sportage if there is where can i find it?
check fuel filter, sounds like your not getting fuel,
It sounds like what mine is doing also, FINALLY set a code, PO101, MAF (Mass Air Flow sensor). My MPG is also suffering. It could also just need a new fuel filter. Need to check and see if the fuel pressure is right or if it is getting fuel at all.
Could be a plugged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump.
Defective fuel pump, or clogged fuel filter.
could be a number of things. I would have to know the problems you are having. If it seems like it's not getting enough gas I would try the fuel filter first.
sounds like you have crossed up your wires or look and see if you plugged the electical wires back into the front and back boot.
Did you change the fuel filter?
It is inline, on passenger side reachable under hood at lower firewall! Small black soup can size withline in and line out! Easy!
