It means that either your battery is cactus, or there is a problem withe the alternator. To add a little detail to this, first check your battery is putting out 12Volts by putting a multimeter on the terminals. Next run some basic alternator checks for faults, these tests can be found on the net quite easily. You may have worn brushes which aren't properly contacting the slip rings or a stuffed regulator. These two parts are often very cheap throw away items. Otherwise it's a wiring problem or a problem with the stator, armature or capacitator in the regulator which would mean its time for a new regulator or at least a reconditioned one. Make sure there's no loose earth leads!

To change the brake light switch on a Ford Falcon ED, first disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Locate the brake light switch, which is typically mounted on the brake pedal assembly. Remove the wiring harness connected to the switch, then unbolt or unclip the old switch from its mounting. Install the new switch by securing it in place, reconnecting the wiring harness, and finally reconnect the battery to test the brake lights.
