It means there is a problem with the charging system. Normally a bad alternator.
Here Comes the Light was created in 2007.
Disconnect the battery. BUT you should have it checked. There's a code stored in memory that is needed to fix the cause of the check engine light being on. If you do the battery thing, don't take it to a service tech and say fix it until the light comes back on.
According to the 2007 Ford Escape owners manual the V6 engine came from the factory with the ( Motorcraft BXT-40R battery ) ( that would be BCI group size 40R / 590 cold cranking amps )
It uses voltage from the alternator which in-turns comes from the battery.......
Correct the tire pressure.
In the 2007 Ford Escape, the fog light relay is located in the engine compartment fuse box. To access it, open the hood and find the fuse box near the battery. The relay will typically be labeled on the cover, indicating which one corresponds to the fog lights. If you need to replace it, consult the owner’s manual for specific details.

To reset the battery indicator light on a 2007 Mercedes SL 550, first, ensure the vehicle is turned off. Then, disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 10-15 minutes to reset the system. Reconnect the terminal and start the car to see if the light has reset. If the light remains on, it may indicate an underlying issue with the battery or charging system that should be checked by a professional.
There is no reset for the charging system light. If it is on then you have a problem. More than likely the alternator is defective.
