Really there is no LEDs on the streets. The only place you can find them are in some cars and they are usually on the tail lights and not the head lights.
That means you need to check the head lights. Suprisingly enough head lights on cars cause most problems. Especially on Fords.
Head up displays as quite important as they provide information such as car speed, navigation, and fuel level. Most modern cars are fitted with the HUD.
Those are your DRL's (Daytime Running Lights). Some manual transmission cars' DRL's illimunate after releasing the handbrake.
In most cars there is an dash light adjustment of some sort. My guess is yours is turned down too far so the lights don't show.

You either got a bad new Switch or more likely you have a power supply problem to the park side of the switch.
Some very old cars can be done in an hour and parts are less than $50 Many modern cars will cost in excess of $2000
