If your car is cranking fast, but not starting it is either fuel or fire, so check the plugs to make shure they are getting spark, if they are it is probully the fuel pump or filter.
93 Toyota Celica St w 1.6 engine will not crank. Engine is turning over but not cranking like no gas. Fuel pump checked ok and EFI relay checked ok. Any suggestions what to check next?

Before disconnecting the fuel lines from the filter, remove the fuse and/or relay for the fuel pump, then try to start and run the engine until it runs out of fuel. The pressure will be greatly reduced when you disconnect the lines from the filter. Be prepared for some fuel loss. Replace the fuse and/or relay only after the filter is replaced and reconnected. Run engine and check for leaks.

i replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump relay. the pump runs for 2-3 seconds when key is turned. after cranking for awile, pump runs for 10-15 seconds after key is turned off. sputters a bit when sprayed w/starting fluid. it is probly your fuel injectors. get them tested.
