The grade of oil your vehicle uses is determined by what geographical area you live in. The colder the weather the thinner the oil. The warmer it gets the thicker the oil. Most vehicles use 10-w40 grade Motor oil. Your handbook will have the specific grade that your car needs to use.
It takes Exactly 8.5 quarts when performing a Oil & Filter Change. And you must use 0W-40 Grade Oil.
SAE 5w30 weight oil is required.

SAE 5W-30 is the preferred.
Try 20W-50 to increase oil presure and perhaps reduce oil burning
Use SAE 10w30 full synthetic.
10w30 should work fine. Go to a heavier oil to increase oil pressure.
10W30 in winter. 20W50 in the hot months.
