I'm not a mechanic / technician but what I would do is :
*** first , don't start the engine *** if you do that the coolant will be in your oil filter etcetera
- remove the oil pan drain plug and let the oil drain out until it stops dripping
( or almost )
- while the drain plug is out of the oil pan add a little bit of new engine oil to the engine and let it drain out ( I would do that two or three times )
- reinstall the oil pan drain plug and then put in new engine oil ( don't forget the engine oil filter is still full so you won't need as much oil as a regular oil change )
You drain the oil immediately. If you run the engine with coolant mixed with the oil you will do serious harm to the engine. If you continue to drive it in this condition you will destroy the engine.
Nothing will happen if you drain the cooling system and replace the coolant.
you have a big problem
Have the coolant changed immediately and you will be ok.
Accidentally mixing engine coolant with oil can severely damage your car's engine. The coolant can dilute the oil, reducing its lubricating properties and leading to increased friction and wear on engine components. This combination can also cause sludge buildup, which can clog oil passages and lead to overheating or engine failure. If this happens, it's crucial to have the oil changed and the system flushed as soon as possible to mitigate damage.
Yes. By little I'm talking two tablespoons. If more, then purge and refill with coolant and water.
not really. check that oil isn't in your coolant or coolant in your oil. the 3.1L engines seem to have a reputation for bad intake manifold gaskets.
It won't run properly, you'll have to drain the oil all out.
you run the risk of major bearing fatlure.
5w30 oil, "Green" colored coolant, "Dexron plus three" trans fluid and gasolne
You start to lose compression and coolant is in your oil
It will seize - due lack of lubrication and coolant (one of the oil's uses)
