Fule pump is more than likely locked up and needs replacing.
If the fuel pump is causing a fuse to burn up on a Lincoln, perhaps it is because the fuel pump is not shutting off when it should. It could be running after the car is turned off.
No, there is no fuse for the crank sensor
all it is its that the fuse box is burn an you need to replace it
It can. But likely you have a short in the system.
were is the fuse for the fuel pump
A possible problem could be you power wire is pinched somewhere causing it to touch a ground which will blow the fuse.
CHEVY Did not use a fuel cut off switch on any of there trucks. You have another problem like a bad fuel pump fuse, relay or the fuel pump is burn up.
the fuel pump fuse
Yes if you have too heavy a fuse in, it won't blow the fuse and can burn out the light or wiring, always use the properly rated fuse
clogged fuel filter causing back pressure on the pump making it draw too much amperage.
You cannot bypass the fuel pump relay. It must be working. You will have to repair the problem causing it not to work.
I can only assume that (1) wrong fuse, try higher capacity fuse. (2) the pump is working hard, i.e. something worn, and putting to much strain on fuse link???
