It will screew into the top of the engine block just to the right of the distributor

Most SBC have a port next to the distributor.
The stock oil pressure sensor on a 97 Saturn can be replaced with an oil pressure gauge for poundage info by first unscrewing the existing sensor. The new sensor can then be screwed into place and wiring ran to a suitable pressure gauge.
You tap in off the stock oil pressure sender with a T fitting.

Start with removing the intake manifold. If it still not found you will have to drop the oil pan. If it made it's way to the bottom of the oil pan it would be harmless, but you will not know.
800 RPM should yield about 25-40 lbs. of oil pressure on a stock motor.
That is the engine coolant drain plug for the engine block. There's 1 on the other side also.
