The spanner sign on a trip meter typically indicates a need for maintenance or servicing of the vehicle. It serves as a reminder for the driver to check the vehicle's systems, such as oil changes, tire rotations, or other scheduled maintenance. This warning helps ensure that the vehicle remains in good working condition and can prevent potential issues from arising. Always consult the vehicle's manual for specific maintenance requirements related to the spanner sign.
To set the tripmeter on a Suzuki GS 150R, locate the tripmeter reset button, typically found on the instrument cluster. Press and hold the button for a few seconds until the tripmeter resets to zero. If you want to switch between the odometer and tripmeter, briefly press the button. Make sure to check your owner's manual for specific details, as the process may vary slightly by model year.
I'm guessing it is about the dash of a car, in which case the car needs to be serviced.
look for the "gear" or the "spanner" sign probably at the corners
All newer vehicles have a combination electronic odometer/tripmeter - Odometer measures the total miles on the vehicle and the tripmeter measures the miles since the last time it was reset - used for logging trip distance, measuring mileage since last fuel stop to check mpg, and etc... There is a push button there somewhere on/at the dash that toggles the display between odometer/tripmeter - changing to the tripmeter display, and holding the pushbutton down will reset the tripmeter to O miles...
Pass me the spanner please.Tom bought a new spanner today.
press reset for tripmeter for a few seconds
