This is an incomplete Question. The tires that came on the Ford Explorer in 1992 would be 16 years old now and almost assuredly unsafe. Even if not worn out, they would likely be sun & ozone rotted. Typically these would be Light Truck tires and (depending on the brand, load class and expected payload) would expect inflation from 28-32 psi. Depending on expected road conditions, I would err to the high (pressure) side because of Explorers' history of roll-overs (later models equipped with Firstone ATs were notorious for this). Then again, there are those that would argue that the correct pressure would be 0 psi above atmospheric- parked on blocks.
