There is a sticker in the car right where the driver's side door meets the frame which shows the proper tire pressure for your tires. For this year, make, and model with these tires, the correct pressure should be 41psi while the tires are cold.
35 psi on the original or reccommended tires
The recommended pressure is listed on a decal on the drivers door jamb. With 215/65/16 tires, they recommend 36 psi cold
32-35 psi, whatever the sticker on the door jamb says.,
According to the sticker on the driver side door of mine, it's 36 PSI for my 215/65R16 tires.
It will be written in small print on the side of the tire. It will also be written on a label in one of the door jambs. Go with the label. The pressure written on the side of the tire is the maximum tire pressure the tire will safely hold and is not the pressure you should inflate the tires to. The correct pressure is written on the driver's door post as stated above.
The proper pressure for you vehicle's tires will be listed on the label on the driver side door jamb.
The proper pressure for you vehicle's tires will be listed on the label on the driver side door jamb.
30 psi
If it still has factory size tires, it still uses the factory pressure. Which is 36 psi.
I would check your owner's manual for the Correct Tire inflation used for your vehicle. Many people make the mistake of using the tire pressure on the side of the tire as the correct inflation pressure, which IS NOT the correct one. That is just the max. inflation pressure for the load carrying limit for that specific tire as marked on the tire itself. If your tire pressure is reading correct then, I would take it to the dealer, could be a faulty sensor. Good Luck.
P235/65R17 for both front and rear tires.
the tire pressure is on the right side of the front frame behind the forks as you sit on it as you are driving and I use nitrogen in my tires that keeps the tire pressure at a steady air pressure do to heat from the sun and the road temperatures in front and back , should be 30 for the front and 40 in the rear.
