with out a photo its not easy to explain but I'll try my best
looking at the engine with the distributor at the rear on the left side from front to back the cylinder numbers are 123 and on the right 456
place the engine at top dead center to align your distributor button with cylinder #1
from #1 going clockwise the leads are as follows 1,4,2,5,3,6
