If you only hear it when it is moving, it is the tranny or a bearing. if it does not change pitch when the tranny shifts, it is a wheel bearing or cv joint. if it rumbles when you turn sharp left or right, it is a cv joint.
we had rattleing noise on our passenger side van, it turned out we had to tighten the coil spring, and finally had to replace it
The fuel pump on my 2005 Grand Caravan SXT made a whining sound on long trips in hot weather. I had it replaced and haven't heard it since.
This vehicle is notorious for a "whining" noise. The slower you drive, the louder it is. At first I thought our power-steering pump was going, or the transmission was whining. Two mechanics told me it's normal. Just a quirk with Dodge/Chrysler products. I had that whining noise and it was the alternator making the noise through the radio. even when the radio is off. Just a thought.
the whining noise is probably your passenger whining about the stupid questions you ask
A dodge caravan may be experiencing rear brake noise due to needing new brake pads. This may also be due to worn rotors.
The exhaust on a Dodge Magnum typically should not make a whining noise under normal conditions. If you hear a whining sound, it could be due to a few factors, such as a vacuum leak, issues with the exhaust system components, or problems with the engine itself. It's advisable to have a mechanic inspect the vehicle to diagnose the source of the noise accurately.
How do you replace an alternator on 2008 dodge Avenger? My car is making a whining noise and this may be the problem.
drive belts tensioner/under chassis
I would give an educated guess at the power steering pump/belt.get yourself to your local Dodge dealer and get it checked out now. if you leave it, it could be more expensive in time. Right now it might cost you a couple of Dollars.
ur car sucks!!!!
Transmission mount
The grinding noise in the front of a 1990 Dodge Caravan could be a cv joint. If it is, it probably only grinds when you take a sharp turn. There is one located on each side.
