Where is the coolant temperature sensor located on a 2002 Nissan Sentra? my car s dashboard gauge shows my car is running hot the drops back down to normal any idea?[Improve]
It is normal and unless you are loosing coolant, I wouldn't worry about it. GoodluckJoe
It is the starters breaks after it finishes starting the car. It is normal and it is ok.
just normal weight trani fluid. You could just ask the automotive personnel in the store that you are buying it from they will tell you. Usually your engine oil has weights to it not trani oil.

the normal operating temperature for cars is around 190 degrees.
The normal engine operating temperature, for a 3306 Caterpillar diesel engine, is 180 degrees. The engine should not be operated at temperatures above 200 degrees.
Should be located in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose Drain about 1 gallon of coolant from the radiator Remove this housing Make note how thermostat is installed Clean both surfaces Install new thermostat and gasket Re-fill coolant slowly to prevent an air locck Start engine and look for leaks Run engine to normal operating temperature with heater on Re-check coolant level
195 degrees F
The common timing for a 1996 Nissan Sentra with a 1.6L engine typically involves a timing chain rather than a timing belt, which means it generally requires less frequent replacement. The timing chain should be inspected regularly for wear, but it is designed to last the life of the engine under normal driving conditions. If you notice any unusual noises or performance issues, it may be a sign to check the timing chain or related components. Always refer to the owner's manual for specific maintenance recommendations.
190-210
This denotes an issue with the Exhaust Gas Recirculation system, which transfers exhaust gases from the exhaust manifold to the intake manifold in order to lower combustion temperature. The fault code will appear if the flow of gases is lower or greater than normal.
