well guessing its a cars engine oil and not a deep fat fryer. In a nutshell, drain the engine of all oil by removing sump plug located at the very bottom of the engine about an inch in diameter ( lefty loosey righty tighty) removing filler cap on top of engine for a faster flow, flush engine with correct fluid, remove and replace oil filter, replace old oil with (correct) new oil.
