Depends on the car. For 323i, 323Ci coupe/convertible, 323i wagon, and 328i/ci use bosch part #13-32-1-740-985-M14. For 325i/ci/ic/ xi ( 2001 - 2005 ) Kayser part# 13-32-7-512-019-M93. For the M3 use Mahle part# 13-32-7-831-089-M67 and you'll need a sealing ring for it; Fischer and Plath part# 07-11-9-963-129-M131
The E46 fuel filter is located underneath the car, on the driver's side, near the transmission oil pan. The E46 fuel filter incorporates the fuel pressure regulator.
I belive it to be built into the fuel filter on the e46
fuel filter is recommended to be changed every 15,000 miles
fuel filter is in the gas tank and not recommended to be changed.
It is highly recommended.
73 liters
I recommend every 36,000 miles. Models after 1992 do not need the fuel filter replaced, and it is not recommended by the manual (lifetime filter on the fuel pump)
On the driver's side under the car right where the drivers foot would be. There is an access panel with three screws (by the driver's side front wheel). Above this panel is your fuel filter which is silver in color and about a foot long, 4 inches in diameter. Fuel goes in one side and exits out the other. Fuel lines are rubber and simply slide onto nipples on either end of the filter.
Replace your fuel filter every 50,000 miles or as recommended in your owners manual.

On a 2006 Mazda 6, the fuel filter is located within the fuel tank as part of the fuel pump assembly. This design means that accessing the fuel filter typically requires removing the fuel tank. It's recommended to consult the vehicle's service manual for detailed instructions if you need to replace or inspect the fuel filter.
