The sticker under the hood may state .060", but the correct gap is .040". Use NGK V-Power plugs...they work the best.

Could be a bad ignition coil (if coil on plug equipped). Could be a bad spark plug or wire
The gap for a spark plug in a 2001 Saturn SC2 is typically between 0.040 and 0.060 inches (1.0 to 1.5 mm). It's important to check the specific requirements in the owner's manual or service guide, as gaps can vary slightly based on the engine's specific configuration. Always ensure the spark plugs are properly gapped before installation for optimal performance.
Yes, all of the Saturn's were equipped with Electronic Fuel Injection.

Probably a leak in the valve cover gasket around the spark plug. If it isn't building up a lot of oil, it probably isn't much of a problem. Once the oil pools up to the gasket, it stops building up.It's more of an annoyance than anything, and if you want, you can pull the valve cover and replace the gasket.
the spark plugs are located down the center of the engine. down the center of the engine running from left to right, you will see 4 large wires with round rubber boots. grab the boot as far down as you can get your fingers and pull strait up. you dont ever want to pull on the wire itself, as you can break it. once the boot is out of the motor, use a 5/8 spark plug socket with a 9" extention and lower it down into the hole. the spark plugs are down thoes holes.
