crnke shaft is the one which is attached with piston trough gudgeon pin or swift pin. Its main use is to rotate the piston in rotary motion with the help of counter weight, due to which piston resiprocate up and down.
install 3.8 Chevy impala crank sensor passenger side , remove wheel and use pully to pull out crank shaft
Chevy did not use a crank sensor on that year.
Weight savings.
Gm. did not use a crank shaft sensor in 1988, It had a distributor that done everything.
NO it will not. They have NOTHING to do with oil usage.
Don't attempt this yourself!! Bring the bottom end to a professional because the crank case must be split in order to remove the crank. When installing the new one, be sure to use brand new high quality crank bearings, and spend the extra money for a performance crank shaft. If the new shaft has a longer stroke then the stock shaft, don't forget to have your cylinder head machined for the extra clearance, otherwise you will do some serious damage when you start it up. Hope this helped. Keep the rubber side down!
Use an easy-out of harder metal after drilling a small hole with harder metal.
The weight of a 1 meter stainless steel shaft will depend on the specific grade and dimensions of the shaft. To calculate the weight, you would need to know the diameter and thickness of the shaft, as well as the density of the stainless steel material being used. You can use online calculators or reference materials to find the weight based on these factors.
To calculate the counter weight just simply use this formula V3x (-)> 3.16 + belt radius = weight it took me 14 days to come up with this theory use it wisely Please and thank you.
