The 1998 Yamaha Timberwolf typically requires about 1.6 quarts (or approximately 1.5 liters) of oil when performing an oil change, including the oil filter. It's important to use the recommended oil type, which is usually 10W-40 or 20W-50 for this model. Always check the owner's manual for specific guidelines and ensure the oil is at the proper level after filling.
