You have to fill the trans fluid through the dipstick tube.

It is red, and looks like most other types of trans fluid
Chrysler transmission : Mopar ATF+3 or Mopar ATF+4 Aisan Warner transmission : Dextron The AW4 trans has a rectangular pan with a drain plug. The Chrysler trans doesn't have a drain plug.
Chrysler recommends using Mopar ATF +4, Type 9602. They also specifically state that Dexron III/Mercon is NOT recommended. Basically, you can/should use a semi-synthetic, or fully-synthetic transmission fluid.
remove the transmission oil pan and replace the trans filter,reseal and replace the pan fill trans start with four quarts then check and add until full.
The dipstick is a dealer special tool. You can not check your own transmission fluid.
