1999 and newer Chevy trackers don't have a timing belt, they have a timing chain and i was told by my mechanic that it shouldn't need changed at any specific mileage interval.
The Gates website ( they make timing belts etc. ) shows ( 60,000 miles ) and that the 2.7 liter is an interference engine
